Action Heroes – The Gate Camp – June 29-July 1, 2012

The Gate Camp 2012 is coming up! Our theme this year is ACTION HEROES! James 1:22 challenges us, not only to hear God’s word, but to do what it says!

Our 4th through 6th graders will spend a weekend learning how to put their faith into action!

The dates of The Gate Camp are June 29th – July 1st. Cost is $100.

The Gate Camp is limited to the first 24 boys and 24 girls who sign and pay.

2012 Spring/Summer Life Group Sign Ups

Life Groups are an exciting way to get connected at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. There are life groups for all ages. Some are Bible Studies, some revolve around hobbies, some revolve around prayer…there are so many different group topics to choose from!

Come out and join the Seasoned Saints for a Potato Bar on Friday, May 25th beginning at 6:30pm.

Men’s Outreach Day – Saturday, May 12, 2012

Saturday May 12th will be your opportunity to take part in serving our community. The survey we took at the end of last year showed a great number of men interested in serving. WE NEED YOU! We will meet at the Pavilion at 8:30 a.m. for a word of prayer and then teams under the direction of team leaders will head out to project sites to complete tasks for those in need in our community.

Come be a part of being the hands and feet of Jesus during this CalvaryMen outreach Day. Sign up at the kiosk in the foyer.

FAQ:
Q: What times should I plan on being available?
A: This will depend upon the project you will be involved with. Plan to be working from 8:30am-11:30am.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Wear clothes to work in that you do not mind getting dirty…jeans and an old shirt.

Q: What tools should I bring?
A: All tools will be provided for each job.

Q: Is lunch provided?
A: No, lunch will not be provided.

Q: Is there an age requirement?
A: Ages 13 and up. Fathers and sons are welcome and encouraged.
