The CCQC Technical Arts Ministry exists to provide lighting and video support to the Worship Ministry and, as needed, other CCQC ministries and to serve God by serving the Church. (1 Cor 12:12-26)
Purpose
To recruit, train and provide opportunities for individuals to minister through the use of their technical skills or to learn new skills in A/V, computer systems and lighting technologies. To develop, plan, schedule, implement, maintain and manage all areas of video and lighting within the Worship Ministry. To include hardware, software and the integration of these systems as needed.
Goal
To provide a trained operator for each church service/function requiring video or graphical presentations both inside and outside our facility including services, practices and special events.
Commitment
The CCQC Technical Arts Ministry is an important part of most CCQC services. With the increased use of videos and graphics in worship, this team is being used more and more. In order to maintain a level of excellence a year long commitment is preferred but team members are asked to commit for at least one quarter. This commitment helps in scheduling workers and training.
Schedule
Members of the CCQC Technical Arts Ministry are asked to serve one Sunday a month for choir sound check and both Celebration Services. Having one tech for the entire morning helps insure continuity and reduces mistakes. Schedules will be distributed monthly (in conjunction with choir schedules). If a tech is unavailable to serve on the day they were scheduled they should contact the church or ministry leader as soon as possible.
